Punjab cultural society share a rich cultural heritage due to the presence and exchange of migratory flows that promote diversity. Promoting arts and culture, SDM programs aim to encourage intercultural dialogue that further strengthens democratic values with also contributing in economic and social harmony of the country. Organizing wide range of activities related to live arts like music, dance, theatre, opera & etc. we reach broader audiences in order to have positive tolerance among communities. Fostering sustainable partnerships with great balanced movement and increased intellectual focus while living in this country, we promise to work on all levels of faith and confidence that help bring people together.
- To create a feeling of goodwill, love, sympathy and affection among its members.
- To work with co-operation and co-ordination by taking all members into confidence.
- To promote the feeling of Punjabi culture among its members, local masses and in the remote villages by organizing various camps, functions and interactions.
- To motivate the masses of Punjabi area to create love for Punjabi literature and language. It shall help the drive to remove illiteracy from Punjab.
- To encourage young artists from schools, colleges and localities to participate in the programs of Gidda, Bhangra, skits, dramas, music, songs, etc.
- To take advice, assistance and direction from all renowned artists, writers, singers, play-writers, dancers for healthy promotion of the aims of the society.
- To give financial help/grant to all needy/poor artists so that they may shine and show their basic and special instinct in extra-ordinary cases.
- To help and encourage women and girls to participate in the cultural programs with keeping in mind their social security.
